Surge capacity is what separates an inverter that runs a compressor from one that trips trying, and 6,000 watts of it is enough for most single-phase motor loads. AIMS states its ETL listing in the product title itself, which is refreshingly unambiguous. Two things to plan for: this particular SKU has no GFCI (a separate industrial version does), and the remote is a forty-four-dollar accessory rather than included.
