Why this site exists. Several Ford dealer blogs are already publishing Fathom specifications as fact — a 0–60 time, a frunk capacity — that trace back to no verifiable source. We tag every claim by its evidence: what Ford said, what a named outlet reported, and what nobody actually knows. When we are wrong, the tag and the date show it.

48-volt (not the traditional 12-volt)
This is the single most consequential confirmed spec for accessories. Every dash cam hardwire kit and bed lighting kit on the market is rated 12–24V.

Reported consistently by Electrek and Ford Authority, and prototypes were photographed at Superchargers in July 2026 — but no Ford specification sheet states it. If it holds, a J1772-to-NACS adapter is the single most useful accessory a buyer can own.

The $3,895 Home Integration System is no longer sold and Ford has ended support for it. Ford now points owners toward GenerLink at $1,100. Whether either will support the Fathom has not been announced.

Electrek reports the Fathom carries a native NACS port on the rear driver's side, and prototypes were photographed charging at Tesla Superchargers in July. Ford has not published a specification confirming it — we are tagging this shallow until it does.
