The Ford Fathom,
without the guesswork.

Ford's $28,350 electric pickup arrives in late 2027. Almost nothing about it has been published — no photographs, no range, no dimensions. We track every specification by how well it is actually known, and stock the gear that genuinely works with it today.

Why this site exists. Several Ford dealer blogs are already publishing Fathom specifications as fact — a 0–60 time, a frunk capacity — that trace back to no verifiable source. We tag every claim by its evidence: what Ford said, what a named outlet reported, and what nobody actually knows. When we are wrong, the tag and the date show it.

The Depth Chart

Depth encodes certainty

All 43 specifications we track, sorted by how solid the ground under them is. 18 confirmed by Ford, 6 reported but not confirmed, 19 genuinely unknown.

Surface · Ford-confirmed

Low-voltage architecture

48-volt (not the traditional 12-volt)

This is the single most consequential confirmed spec for accessories. Every dash cam hardwire kit and bed lighting kit on the market is rated 12–24V.

Shallow · Credibly reported

Charge connector

Native NACS (reported)

Reported consistently by Electrek and Ford Authority, and prototypes were photographed at Superchargers in July 2026 — but no Ford specification sheet states it. If it holds, a J1772-to-NACS adapter is the single most useful accessory a buyer can own.

What has actually happened

Every development we can source, dated and tagged. Nothing here is a prediction.

Ford-confirmed August 26, 2026

Ford's Home Integration System is discontinued

The $3,895 Home Integration System is no longer sold and Ford has ended support for it. Ford now points owners toward GenerLink at $1,100. Whether either will support the Fathom has not been announced.

Reported August 10, 2026

Reported: a native NACS port, no adapter needed

Electrek reports the Fathom carries a native NACS port on the rear driver's side, and prototypes were photographed charging at Tesla Superchargers in July. Ford has not published a specification confirming it — we are tagging this shallow until it does.
